Müller Plastics
A highlight right at the start: Müller Plastics has won the coveted Ecovadis gold medal! This puts the company in the top 5% of the best rated companies worldwide - proof of exemplary environmental, social and management practices. The team worked hard together to achieve this award and shows that sustainable action is firmly anchored at Müller.
And there is even more reason to celebrate: with the new ReCan canister, Müller Plastics is expanding its portfolio with a sustainable solution made from recycled material. The company is thus saving valuable resources and setting an example for the circular economy.
Müller Plastics has been focusing on renewable energies for years: The small, fine, company-owned photovoltaic system, which was installed with 30 kWp, produces around 22 MWh of clean electricity every year. This is a contribution to environmentally friendly production.
In this production facility, a new regrind dedusting system reduces dust and at the same time improves the use of raw materials – less waste, more efficiency. A modern emulsion splitting system also contributes to environmental protection by separating oil and water mixtures fully automatically. This means that Müller Plastics not only saves resources, but also ensures an even more sustainable production process.
Sustainability also depends on committed employees. Müller Plastics has therefore launched a series of workshops for managers to develop communication principles and strengthen team spirit. Community was celebrated at the summer barbecue and Christmas dinner - because one thing is clear across the workforce: motivation and cohesion are the basis for a sustainable future. To take this realization into account, an employee survey was conducted to better understand the internal needs and ideas surrounding sustainable action.
